The Pacifico Brewery, located in beautiful Mazaltan, Mexico was founded in 1900 by German settlers and was acquired by Grupo Modelo in 1954. Its unique packaging and distinctive taste made Pacifico a popular choice with American tourists, and in 1985 Grupo Modelo began exporting Pacifico to the United States. Grupo Modelo, Mexico’s largest brewer, operates seven state-of-the-art breweries throughout Mexico.
